Tainted Truths is the fourth book in the Hollow Blood Series and continues Aria and Nick's journey as they work to rebuild their court after the events of the previous books. Just when they think they're finally moving forward, long-buried secrets about their pasts and families begin to unravel. As the truth comes to light, they find themselves questioning everything and everyone they thought they could trust.
💭 My Thoughts
P. Carreira has officially become my favorite dark fantasy romance author. Tainted Truths, the fourth installment in the Hollow Blood Series, had me hooked. I did not want to put it down whatsoever. Somehow, each book just keeps getting better than the last!
I loved seeing Aria and Nick's character growth and how they're truly each other's ride or die. The banter between all of the characters had me laughing, and I was so happy to see certain characters finally getting their happily ever after.
Nick once again proves why he's one of my favorite Shadow Daddies. I loved the scene where he walked into the enemy camp alone after finding out they were after Aria. This man is literally the definition of "touch her and die," and every time he goes feral over her, I'm over here fanning myself... which has me wondering if maybe it's time for therapy. 😂
As always, P. left us with a cliffhanger, and not all of my questions were answered. Needless to say, I'm already counting down until the next book.

Before picking up Tainted Truths, you'll definitely want to read the previous books in the Hollow Blood Series. This is not a standalone, and you'll get the most out of Aria and Nick's journey, the character development, and the ongoing storyline by reading the series in order.
